im using cubase 4 but im sure its the same on most software.

On any fader, you have the level(numbers). The smaller numbers above that, is this the peak level of that track?

if so, and i want to be at -18db which one should i go by?

ok i found me a pic. the smaller white numbers you can see on top of the fader vol. im guessing i go by those as that seems to be the true representation of the level?

Yeah, the small numbers offset to the right are the tracks highest point.

Not according to the numbers...

I hate to sound like Captain Obvious, but what does it say in the manual?

the manual? nah i never go by the manual. (kidding of course)

yes. ok you are right Massive, will do.

its kinda like the remote for the tv thing.
you forget you can actually turn it on "manually."

with this site, i tends to not think for myself at times, and i just forget the "le manualle" exists.

so while im there anything else i need to look at would be a good time?
anyone need anything?? (jokes)
