Reason 2.5 and Vista

To anyone else using Reason 2.5, I am wondering if it will work with Vista? I assume not, since on 2.5s system requirements its says Windows 98/2000/ME/XP, and just because of the age gap between the two.

Thanks for your help.

I'm not using Reason though I'm sure you will be running into some serious problems in Vista. Too many things have changed in that OS that can make it very difficult for an older and complex piece of software like Reason to run smoothly. I've read blogs where people were talking how Reason 2.5 crashed their Vista system. I'm a heavy duty Vista user and my system has never crashed. Maybe it's time to upgrade?

Now I'm wondering the same thing about Reason 3? (Under its system reqs, its says xp or higher). Anyone using 3 with Vista and having problems or all's smooth? I would think Reason 4 works fine.

WYD, I think Sonar 3 will run in Vista but don't quote me on that. Do you have all the patches installed?

Seems like conflicting information gentlemen. ;-)

I would give Reason 2.5 a try and in case it won't work well in Vista uninstall it. The same thing for Reason 3.

WYD, you will absolutely love the jump from 3 to 7. It is so far advanced now it isn't even funny.
