Song Names on CD

How do you put a track Name and what not on a CD so that when you play the CD on a PC for instance it actually says the Song name and not Track 1??

Aug 13, 2008 04:55 pm The information needs to be submitted to the proper database clearinghouses. CDDB, Gracenote, FreeDB, etc., etc.
The info doesn't come from the disc -
Although CD-TEXT information can be embedded into a disc (it's common practice here) and that information can be extracted and submitted to said databases, the average player on a PC is reading the databases - Not the embedded CD-TEXT.

Aug 14, 2008 03:05 pm The cd text information is used in some stereos to read the album and track information, but for most computers, like massive master said, it's coming from the various databases.
