is adding instruments tracks VST better than adding midi tracks VST pn cubase.

Aug 01, 2008 09:06 pm When you set up the instrument track which is basically an audio track you set up a midi track as well. You need both, they are not the same thing.
Not sure how it works in Cubase anymore but in Sonar its simply loading the synth rack and it automatically sets up both the VSTi and midi track at the same time.
