Cubase le 4 playback problem

Greetings to everyone aftera long time im back fr more advise
this is my problem
i have my song recorded and it was playing good good but all of a sudden it start to stick and playing catch up can you tell me how i can get this to stop i tried fixing buffer size but to no avail
plzz help me

It sounds like you may have a problem with the sound card's buffer's not keeping up with the audio.

What software, and what audio interface are you using?

thank you for answering me
i have a lexicon omega and i use also the asio 4 all and the asio direcx full dublex.
and on every one it is doing the same thing now soundcard i dont really know which one i have if all the above is not a soundcard maybe if you tell of a good soundcard i will purchase one but i must say im no computer geniuse so im kind of depending on you all to help me out here.

anyway thank you in advance and im very gratefull for your help.

Okay, the Omega is the sound card. I might suggest going into the buffer settings and try raising it to at least 512 or higher if need be. You may also have a setting in the software as well that might need adjusting.

it sounds like the same thing mine used to do.
Have you made all the adjustments to you windows software on your computer?

there's a tutorial here somewhere in "tips" that can guide ya through it.

thanks for all the good info i read every tip there is but i still have one more problem
how do i get to lower the sample size in for the omega asio i tried every thing
or even input or output lantency any one that can help me with that would be good ofcourse im reading every thread in this forum but im yet to find what is the best i can do to get my cubase playing without toubles

i understood aswel that the vst instument play a number too but solution is all im after any one with the same problem or with any ideas you are most wellcome

You will find settings that should be set by defualt for 44.1 kHz at 16 bit. If those are set higher that will make it difficult to record as well.
