Ive recorded tracks in mono in cubase but have outputed them as stereo through my firefaces monitor out (which uses analouge 9/10 for the stereo out). I have panned things hard left and right but they still come through both sides. What could going on here? How do I get the stereo I want? The Fireface has a mixer on my computer. Do I need to set something on this in a certain way?

May 17, 2008 08:40 pm hey man, im not really familiar with fireface but i got cubase.
as long as you have a "mono bus" set up in "vst connections" and you have it set up as "mono in" and "stereo out" in you track inspector window, in your project, it should be cool.
i cant think of anything else, but someone else here probably can if this isnt it.
May 18, 2008 08:22 am Ok I got is sorted. Channels 9 and 10 on the fireface act as the monitor out (9 being left, 10 being right). In the fireface mixer I had the pan set to centre so I set 9 and 10 hard left and right and this broke up the channels. Thank god. And Deon its good to see some Cubase users round, it seems everyone is using Protools or otherwise these days.
