The vst window is showing the asio meter spiking and causing the audio output to "stutter" Its only doing it on one song. If I load another song, it works fine. Any help?

May 17, 2008 03:51 am i dunno, last time i suggested anything bout cubase i got chewed out, but oh well here are some suggestions anyway.
on the song you are talking about how many effects are you running and are they in group or fx channels, or as insert effects?
also check your buffer or latency settings for that song.
maybe its too low.
i hope that helps. i dont know how experienced you are at recording so this stuff may sound stupid to you.

May 18, 2008 07:48 pm Yep, check the things Deon suggested and also look at your track volume levels as well. I'm not sure if the meter is looking at audio levels or CPU usage in LE4 as I'm not a user. But I would assume it is looking at audio level and that would suggest that one or more tracks are set to high. You can also try simply lowering the master channel volume.
