Just ordered a Toneport UX2.

I ordered the Toneport UX2, I can't wait to get it. The only thing that sucks is all I have for software will be the program that comes with it. I will probably order something like Sonar Home Studio shortly.
I also ordered a 12' Monster cable. I decided everytime I order from Musicians Friend or American Musical Supply I am going to order a Monster cable untill my Guitar rig is all Monster. So far I got 2 1.5' speaker cables for my cab and now a 12 footer for Head to effects. All I need is 2-3 8" ones and a 21' for the guitar.
Sorry had to share my excitement.

Dec 27, 2007 12:09 pm Yea I know, I have worn out so many "lifetime warranty" cables I just get sick of replacing them. The ones I got before were "Live Wires". I have worn out 3 of those.

Dec 27, 2007 08:43 pm JScott, you'll love the UX-2. Although I have a fully loaded PODxt with and FVB board for control I use the UX-2 way more. And don't forget to try the mic pre amp models as well. They are absolutely killer. I even use them on my electro acoustic with killer results.
But indeed, have a look around as there are tons of good cheap starter programs and a few freebies as well.
