Our church is having trouble with old amp after mixer to boost sound to wireless hearing devices and computer to record, We are wanting something that has 2 inputs and four outputs?, do they make such a thing ? we don't think we need much boost but maybe 20 to 50 amps? not sure? the outputs are 1/4 or composite right now but we could manage others. is this just a power amp, pre amp or would a headphone amp be enough? we found several headphone amp with one input four out that look like what we need but they don't claim how much power. I apologize I really am not audio savy just repeating what I think they were saying.

in short you want either a USB or Firewire mixer/interface....there several types of varying prices...

what kind of budget are you working with?

something like this might be up your alley...you'd have to get seperate "power amps" to power the speakers with (more money)...

and

www.samsontech.com/produc...2&brandID=2

now a more 'pro' setup would be an analog mixing board, poweramps, and a good firewire interface....this would give you more flexibility down the road and probably way more reliable...but again we're talking about a few thousand dollars here.

welcome to HRC!

No, he simply needs to feed a boosted signal from the mixer to other devices he has. I assume you are not feed speakers with this device.

Do you have a model of what you were using there? That might help us find you a replacement.

This is what I use here to split my signal out to various input sources. www.mackie.com/products/bigknob/
I think it might be more along the lines of what your looking for, to feed several different sources a main signal.
