I'm using Cubase SX3. I'm recording to a mono track. My soundcard (Tapco USB) is working fine, with all in's and out's set up correctly. all Tracks are panned to the middle, so I should hear playback on both channels right?? Wrong, only the left.
When I use Adobe Audition I hear playback in both channels, crystal clear.
So what am I doing wrong??
Also, how do I export MIDI files out of Cubase??

Oct 11, 2007 01:43 pm Sound to me like you may be recording into one side of a track that is set up as a stereo track in the software...at least that is what first comes to mind.
Oct 11, 2007 01:46 pm no i made sure i recorded into a mono track
Oct 11, 2007 01:50 pm How about the master buss, or master output of the application? Not at track level, but at application level, is that assigned properly to like outs 1/2 rather than out 1 or out 2 by mistake perhaps?
Oct 11, 2007 02:06 pm no i've made sure that's all ok too.
Is there any way I can export my midi file from Cubase?? I think i'm going to edit everything in Audition instead..
