Aug 29, 2007 11:14 am Usually vocal problems like you describe are a problem with the vocalist...while I can't say it's your issue, as I haven't listened, no effect or plugin can turn **** into gold.
Just food for thought...not trying to be a downer...
Aug 29, 2007 11:21 am hi mate, the vocals are good and strong, it just sounds like ya singing in a tin can.

Aug 29, 2007 11:32 am What kind of mic(s) are you using? Are the raw vocal tracks by themself tinny. It could be a phase issue if it is happening in the mix and not in the raw track.
Aug 29, 2007 11:40 am hi mate we are using the behringer c1
put abit of reverb on and it sounds tinny

Aug 29, 2007 12:42 pm I'm just getting familiar with mixing and such, but if the reverb you used made the vocals sound "tinny" as you say, get rid of the reverb. I was playing around with the reverb presets in Cool Edit and I also got that same kind of sound. I simply switched to a different reverb preset.
Play around with the settings until you get the sound you want.
