Recording Roland V-drums TD-20 Kit?

I have my TD-20 module connected to my computer using Cakewalk Music Creator. When I record to the MIDI drum track the sounds are definately cheezy----nothing like the kits that I have in the module. As you can see I am a novice at home recording. The kits in the module are great and are prfessionally created. How do I transfer the kit sounds with my performace data into Cakewalk Music Creator? I appreciate any help...thanks.

you got to route your recorded midi tracks out of the computer to the midi input on your TD-20...then hook your audio outputs on that to a line input on your computer and simply hit record in cakewalk and let the track play through. cakewalk will trigger your drum brain, and record the audio from it at the same time.

you will probably have to re-align the audio track after you do this because of the latency...

whosyourdaddy00...THANK YOU so much for your advice on how to record the sounds from my TD-20. I need to get an audio cable to hook to my sound card before I can record, however, I do have the computer talking to the module. I am not sure how to "re-align" the audio track yet but I am certainly happy that your advice has allowed Cakewalk to trigger the TD-20 kit. Again, I can not thank you enough for your time and trouble to answer this for me.
