I am trying to bring up the Plug-Ins Manager on my Sonar 6 PE, however when I click on it nothing pops up, no window or nothing. I even tried bringing it up by going to a track and choosing to add an effect, and trying the Manage Plugins there, still nothing. Anyone got any ideas on why it's not popping up?? Otherwise, I just installed some new plug-ins and I'm trying to get Sonar to see them, how do I do this??

Jun 17, 2007 09:49 pm i've never used the plugin-manager before...a quick workaround would be to run the vst wrapper again and make sure you tell it to look in the folder(s)that you installed the new plugs (.dll files) into...

Jun 18, 2007 12:01 pm I went ahead and downloaded the 6.2 fix/upgrade and that fixed the problem.

Jun 18, 2007 10:14 pm Sorry I'm late, but indeed Sonar does not use a wrapper anymore, VST is native now. It simply looks on booting the app for new pluggins, but the fix to 6.2 made it work better. You can force it to look for pluggins by the way.

Jun 19, 2007 09:20 pm Ya, if you ever get your southern TN *** to MN I'll give you a free session lesson with it. I take most of it for granted now and don't really use it to it's fullest sometimes. But all the new goodies and native stuff is really great when I do need it.
