What is the best way for connecting a Behringer Eurorack 1204FX Pro mixer to a US-122.

I use two guitar cables(right ,left) from the mixers' AUX SENDS to the US-122 guitar ins. I have noise like mad and have tried many this. If anyone can help please do. Suggestions, question...i just really want this.

switch off the "guitar" in...make sure it's a "line in"....or plug your mic directly into the tascam and bypass the mixer altogether (that's what i'd do)

i've tried that but the noise was huge. i was thinking the mixer would help.

When it's all set up(with mic in mxer), I plug the headphones into the mixer and it sounds amazing, but as i plug the headphones into the tascam it is noisy and quiter.

I really want to use the mixer...is there a better way to connect it?

well...then the tascam is your problem...i'd check the gain settings inside it...you want to bypass the preamps there...

start by eliminating ALL variables...which means plug the mic into the tascam, and the tascam into the computer....see if you can get the noize to go away with that setup...once you do, then introduce the mixer into the signal chain.

read up on "gain staging" here and on google...that's what's causing the noize. you prolly just have your headphone volume way up and your preamp down...try turnin' town the headphone output and crankin' up the preamp.
