Which midi keyboard?

Greetings to all.I'm going to buy my 1st midi keyboard and after enough research i've ended up at these three: 1)M-AUDIO OXYGEN 49 (135 Euro) www.thomann.de/gr/maudio_oxygen_49.htm 2)EMU XBOARD 49 (149E) www.thomann.de/gr/emu_xboard_49.htm 3)MIDITECH MIDICONTROL-2 (119E) www.thomann.de/gr/miditech_midicontrol_2.htm Both the oxygen and the xboard seem to be very good, except the xboard also has aftertouch, which i'm not sure if i'll really need.The miditech seems to be really new so i couldn't find any reviews,but it seems to have nice specs and a good price.A last choice would be to buy something like a Keystation 49e (77E) and a separate controller with knobs www.thomann.de/gr/cordial_mir.htm (20E) but i don't know if that would be very practical(would it?).What do you think is the best choice? P.S. Please don't suggest anything more expensive since i can't afford it...

Apr 21, 2007 10:07 am I had a radium from M-Audio, it was awesome, I now have a Line 6 KB37...I know nothing of the ones you speak of.
Apr 22, 2007 07:27 pm The M-Audio Oxygen-49 is the same basic unit as the Radium was. It has 49 full size keys and is connected via a built in USB interface. And the Emu unit is comparable only it has after touch which none of the others do. Of the choices you listed I would do the Emu or the M-Audio unit opting for the Emu if after touch is something you think you may need. I am not fond of Emu's drivers though but I have not heard anything really bad about the xboard as of yet.
Apr 22, 2007 07:43 pm Yeah, the Oxygen and Radium look pretty similar, 49 keys, 8 knobs, 8 faders (Oxygen has 9, one extra set apart for something), two wheels...but it looks like the Oxygen may have some extra programmable buttons or something though...
May 03, 2007 10:38 am I finally ordered the emu xboard 49 and waiting for it to arrive.Anyone with good/bad experiences with it?
