the thing i need an audio clip of is not copyrighted, and i must have it.
it's teen spirit, given a proper orchestral treatment.
damned if i can figure out how to record an audio stream though, without spending like three hours searching and thinking. anyone?

Mar 27, 2007 01:02 pm set your sound card to record what you hear, or wav output...then play the stream.

Mar 27, 2007 01:28 pm ESI has that function, directwire, it's called. You can 'virtually' plug from one format over to another, like playing WDM, but recording into an ASIO program.
I don't have inet on my studio PC though, so I can't do it. Maybe noize or db would capture it. They both have ESI cards.
Kaos has one too.

Mar 28, 2007 09:26 pm Yep forty, Tuna turned me onto that like a year ago. This is a much better sounding clip then he pointed me to before though. I do as coolo stated only I just run it out the desk and into Sonar or Wavelab or whatever. I do use the ESI interface though and do as pjk stated at time also. I want the whole video though. Anyone know how to do that?
