need one time use freeware streaming audio recorder

the thing i need an audio clip of is not copyrighted, and i must have it.





it's teen spirit, given a proper orchestral treatment.

damned if i can figure out how to record an audio stream though, without spending like three hours searching and thinking. anyone?

set your sound card to record what you hear, or wav output...then play the stream.

ESI has that function, directwire, it's called. You can 'virtually' plug from one format over to another, like playing WDM, but recording into an ASIO program.

I don't have inet on my studio PC though, so I can't do it. Maybe noize or db would capture it. They both have ESI cards.

Kaos has one too.

Yep forty, Tuna turned me onto that like a year ago. This is a much better sounding clip then he pointed me to before though. I do as coolo stated only I just run it out the desk and into Sonar or Wavelab or whatever. I do use the ESI interface though and do as pjk stated at time also. I want the whole video though. Anyone know how to do that?
