The way it reads it is very, very cool, tho I still prefer doing it on a PC myself.

Jan 09, 2003 12:16 pm thanks for the reply...i, too, would like to go the computer route, but have a fixed budget, $1500, to get myself rolling in my home recording set up...with that money, i could get the computer, and nothing else as far as i have researched...any suggestions?
Jan 09, 2003 12:19 pm Are you not on a computer right now? If it is your PC, what are the specs?

Jan 09, 2003 03:16 pm i am at a computer at work...mine at home is an old pentium 1 processor PC...barely supports email functions...
Jan 09, 2003 03:21 pm ah, OK, well, you could still get a decent PC and soundcard for $1000 oif you shopped around, but if you wanna go for a digital multi-tracker, the Yamaha would be a great one from what I have heard.

Jan 14, 2003 08:17 am i just got one, upgraded from a boss BR8. i really like it, its smooth to use, having 8 simultaneous inputs is great, eq is straight forward and the quick record function is easy to follow.
