Chapman stick rocks. I love it. Tony Levin is a wonderful player as is Nick Beggs (bass player with Kajagoogoo of all things).

Andy McKee is such a great player. Have you ever seen/heard Adrian Legg? He's a must have for any guitar player....

I've always enjoyed Justin King's playing which is sort of similar.

OK, here we go again. If you guys like that stuff its amazing that you haven't mentioned the guy who actually invented the tapping style on the guitar. He single handedly brought back the harp guitar from the dead of the baroque days. King and all those playing now owe their style to this one man. Michael Hedges. IF you only watch one of the video's watch Because its There, but watch Ariel Boundaries as well.

He died way to soon and left all of us who had seen him and listened to him for those few years wanting more. He is responsible for the alternate tunings that all the new tap and slap artists use these days.

And check out All Along the Watchtower as well. I think there is only one version of it, which is not his best but it kind of shows him getting a little down in the early days.

(edit)
The good version is a couple pages in of all along the watch tower.

That Michael Hedges is cool! I loved the Bach cello suite, that was (in it's original version....) the dinner music at my wedding....
