No input with 1616M

Hey guys, I have a 1616m that was working fine at home..

Now at uni i can see a clipping signal that corresponds to what im playing on the input with my guitar, but cant make any sound come out! sound from reason works fine, but no guitars?!

What is wrong!!! Is their a switch or option I am missing?

Make sure you have "monitor" or some similar option turned on for the input channels you are using.

Argh have played around with those loads! Unless im being retarded I cant figure this out.. Thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers... HELP!

It must be something either with the drivers or in the PatchMix panel. I know there are a couple other users of the E-Mu units here that may know what it is. Sorry I am not familiar with that unit or the PatchMix software panel for it.
