Just messing around today with the drummer and singer for my new band. We decided to record a "hard" rap song. Has curse words as we are emulating being "hard". Start to finish in about 5 hours :)
Anyway, it's called 8411 and is a good laugh if nothing else.

Jan 15, 2007 08:34 am Ya know, I was a punk kid (for the era anyway) I was obnoxious and stuff, drove my mom nuts, made my dad mad...in hindsite tho, I was pretty tame by way of comparison.
Even my mom and dad told me a few years ago they realized that as much trouble as they thought I was as a kid, they had since learned it was nothing out of the ordinary. Felt kinda good to hear.

im not much of a problem child to my parents really
they only have to really drive me on the school aspect of stuff :P
im like failing math and there starting to get pissed off haha
but other than that i dotn really do anything to "bad"

Jan 15, 2007 09:09 pm Tripps, that was well worth the listen. If I may say so it sounds a little bit like Atmosphere meets the Beasty Boyz. A bit trippy with attitude, well sort of. But nicely done either way.

And yeah noize, only rap I ever listened to was NWA, BBoys and Cypress hill. Guess it shows :) But really I always like the BBoys for the instruments, real bass and drums mixed to taste.
