Vocal Recording Help

I posted this messga last night but apparently it didnt work, so here it goes again.

I am in a band where my vocal ability doesnt matter a whole lot. But we are doing this one song that I have actual singing parts. No matter what I know I won't like it but I need some help to make me hate it less.

I can hit all of the correct notes that I need to it's just the quality of those notes aren't very good. What are some recording tricks to get my vocals to sound not as bad. Effects, mic placement, multi tracks, ANYTHING?

I know you can't make me sound like one of the three tenors or anything but I would like it to sound like I sort of know how to sing. I know it's possible. i hear records where the vocals sound "processed". Normally i cringe on that but at this point I'll take what i can get.

Sorry if this question appears twice, I couldnt find my original post.

Hi!

I think that you need Antares Auto Tune 3. This tool is a very nice way to fix your vocals.

Try it out!
