i use sonar660 and i am getting a little latency with my recoding anyone know what the problem is

Dec 17, 2006 11:48 am As well do you mean Sonar 6? IS it the studio version or Producer edition? I can get you to the settings menu to set up your sound card and buffers in Sonar.
But as dB stated, you need to be sure you have the current drivers for the sound card you have.

Also the specs of your PC would be useful to know.

You might want to check and see if Sonar used the default MME drivers. If so you need to switch to either the WDM or ASIO driver's. Not sure if the Edirol unit supplies ASIO driver's or not. I would assmue it does.
