OK guys

2 brand new songs from me.

Different song writing style for me (less full on rock, more indie rockie I think).

Different Les Paul tones (Still ma Les Paul tho ;-), different drums and better bass I think.

Dont worry too much about the demo quality - more interested in yer thoughts on the songs overall....yer feedback, is golddust !

These MAY end up as DMR songs, may not but either way, I enjoyed blastin them on this demo ;-)

(Both songs on my profile now)

Song 1: Vino Collapso -

Song 2: Layla & The Sailor

Enjoy and let me know yer thoughts ..

Cheers and aw the best

Wow, that is differant. Still coco rockin the house though. I think the new direction honestly sound great. And ya know I truly dig the coco miester on the vox indeed!!!!!

I think yer voice is what makes some of those songs more rockin. Just my humble opinion there bud.

But ideed they sound great, and the playin an mixin aint half bad for a quicky demo version dude.

Yes, it's different, but really good. Keep it up. You've got a fan in Texas!

Hey coco yep those are very different sounding from your norm, but I too really like the new direction. The first one has a later Neil Young kind of sound but with your signature voice which sounds really good on both of these tracks. The second one I think is my favorite of the 2, both are great rockin' tunes!

The mix sounds really good on my system and I really like the tone you got with the LP.

Hey Noize

Cheers for the listens and comments as ever bud...aye, tis a point with the vocals - often, it annoys me. The voice, is the one trick pony of mine - I cant sign any other way to be honest ;-) !! So, it will generally always sound like that which annoys me to be honest - but, since I generally play guitar far more than I sing (unless its my own stuff) its all cool. Thanks for the plauds tho man...I appreciate that.

Dono - also cheers for the listens and also glad ye liked em...indeedly, a bit different to my stuff but its a case of now out with the old and in with the new for me...sound and writing wise, the corner is being turned slowly but surely!

Hey Dan - good to hear from you too man and thanks muchly for the listens...appreciated. Wow - Neil Young - thats one of my songwriting guides/favs for sure...maybes a bit of influence comin thru there tho possibly not as much as Id like..he is way cool.

Cheers for the plauds - aye, I actually think the first one will suit the band more, the second probably wont ... its more rock than the band ever manages.

As for the Paul tone...aye - this is the new pedal of mine I just got round to using (I got last Xmas) .. its the Korg AX10G - that was a vintage tweed 2x12 I think I used and that will be, my new, less heavy sound. Its almost SGish at times which, I like...I like the tone.

I also used some drum loops rather than the machine and MIDI - sounds way better as my drum programming is no the best to be honest!

Cheers to ye all - MUCH APPRECIATE YER TIME IN LISTENIN and FEEDIN BACK!!

All the best to ye all.

Coco.
