I need some monitors and im looking at these M-Audio Desktop ones

www.musiciansfriend.com/p...tors?sku=603709

Their in my price range (pretty small range eh?)and i already use m-audio interfaces, i like the company and their products.
Has anyone used these or know anything about them? Their 99 bux... is the quality only 99 bux?

I use the m-audio DX4's and I dig em. That said they are the first pair of monitors I've had, so I've nothing to compare em to. One thing though is m-audio cones are very fragile... resist the urge to poke em.. haha ;)

I use the Dx5's and they are fantastic. One of the best purchases I've made for my home studio. Although, I'm not sure how they compare to the quality of the StudioPro 3. I feel pretty confidant that the quality of M-Audio products would be higher than comparable products of the same price range.

Also, Db may appreciate it if you did buy them, to order them through Zzounds off of this website ;)

I'm really not sure if zzsounds ships to Thailand, or if the free shipping counts. That might have to be asked to zzsounds.

crux, the only problem with those will be a lack of bottom end. They only have a 3 1/4" woofer in them. So bass will not be real heavy.

You should be able to use the sub you have now. I dont think that will be a problem.
