Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm still relatively new to this.
Anyway, I have a copy of Fruity Loops 6 XXL and I have been putting some trakcs together, etc. I would like to find out if it is at all possible to change the tempo of a track midsong, without manually changing the Master Tempo control.
Thanks in advance.

Aug 18, 2006 10:07 am I've wrestled with this as well, but never found a way to do it. All of the help files pointed me towards a feature called an "event" but I never figured out wtf they were talking about.
I was never able to change time signatures mid-song either with fruity loops.

Aug 18, 2006 06:46 pm In Sonar5 and Project 5 from Cakewalk an event is just a nother way to look at the note, velocity and any other recorded value such as automation and waht not. If I need a tempo change I can do it on the fly or insert it in the event editer. I would assume Fruity should have an event editer or something similar to do that in. I believe I can also add the tempo change via the paino roll itself with an automation edit. I imagine it would be the same or close in Fruity as well.
I would think there would be an edit function called insert event or tempo change. You simply bring that up and tell it what tempo and then the time to insert it at.
