Preamps

Ok guys,i am about to purchase a preamp,sick of the onboard preamp on my soundcard, and i need some help picking one out,what do you use,I dont want to spend over 300 bucks but i still want quality, Thanks for the help

If I have time I will try and recomend a couple good ones in that price range.

holy crap...hands down if you're lookin' for quality in the 300 dollar range, get yo self an ART VLA pro channel....i've had my eye on this puppy for a while now, and will devinately be my next preamp purchase.

Thank you guys so much. Noize I checked out that site and combined it with Whosyourdaddy's suggestion and Im starting to really like the ART's. Is this the one you were talking about ^

Simply follow the Studio Equipment link on the right hand nav buttons. Then choose your catagory, it might take a little getting used to to find some things as it isnt a perfect catagory set up, but it works. Then either copy the URL for the entire list page or click through to one certain item and then copy that URL and then paste in the thread. Its that easy.
