*NEW* Personal Avatars!

Now you can go to your personal profile and choose from one of 580 avatars available in our collection. The collection will grow (hopefully) when I have time. These avatars will display by your forum postings and in your personal profile.
In the future perhaps I will add them to your music listings and other stuff as well.
Enjoy. If you know of or have made any avatars you would like to donate to our collection, the only requirements is that they are 45 pxels square and are a .gif image format.
The page will take a while to load, after all it is 580 images, I am on DSL and it took a bit...

Oct 23, 2002 09:44 pm wow! look at 'em all! I'm on cable and it took almost a whole minute to load up! I'd love to help add some pictures. I use the Gimp but it dones't support gifs. Know of any good gif editors, or maybe a jpeg/bpm to gif convertor?? -Logan
Oct 24, 2002 05:07 am Ya, GIMP is a freeware (and very cool) image editor, it doesn't export gif's because Unisys currently owns copyrights on the gif format, so any program that does support the making of gifs has to pay a certain royalty to Unisys. That is why PHPs image function also stopped supporting gif. I am not sure, but I think in the newer versions of Microsoft Paint started supporting the gif format.

Dude that is so kool, I had to use Riachu though cause you aint' got no Pikachu. I will find a kool Pikachu and wip one up. Who know's though, mybe I'll change it daily. I am bummed though, collapse got the the tree spirit B4 me.

Oct 27, 2002 04:52 pm I love it! A bunch of peeps already are using these avatars, that's awesome! Much more rewarding than things like the music section that barely get used...tho that is picking up as well...

Oct 29, 2002 09:09 pm Ya, it is a wimpy lookin pic of him though. There is also a Japanese version of him wearing a funke little hat. I have a pretty good gif of him looking really zapped that I gotta find and squeeze down to use. But for now Riachu will do very nicely, since he is just another evolved form of Pikachu.
