Apr 19, 2006 03:01 pm I'm diggin on this. One thing I noticed is the bass drum sounds kind of weak at the beginning. But i'm just a fan of thumpy bass drums. Other than that, I really like this. his mix is done really well imo. I might have done some pan fading with that guitar, but that's just me. Nice use of the stereo field. Everything falls into place really nicely. Sax is wonderful. The pianoesque part towards the middle is kind of overpowering I think. It just calls a lot of attention to itself IMHO. But yeah, I'm really digging on this peice man, and the mixing is wonderful, even if I would change a couple things. Great job!

Apr 19, 2006 04:23 pm OK< skipp my comment in the other post then. This link is working. DL'n it right now and will listen later or tommorrow as with the other.
Nice to see you around again.
But who is that wuteva chic in the myspace link you put in the other thread?
Apr 20, 2006 06:57 am thats me manager selena, she runs wuteva records who will at some point probably be putting out some of my dance stuff (i'm promised but these things take time) and me manager for the dj agency i am signed up to, she's also one of me best freinds...
Apr 20, 2006 04:32 pm A nice one, mate! Your sound is very different to whatever I've heard before, and that's just great. Do the acoustic guitars play the same chords over and over? I really dig one of the middle chords (which should be an E major from the g sharp). Great.

Apr 20, 2006 11:03 pm OK, I'll add that one then. I didnt want to add her regular one wondering if maybe it was a typo or something. Oh, now that I look again at Selena, that other myspace site is a 16 year old from Houston. It was a typo. Funny how that happens.
I'll add the wuteva record myspace in then.
Apr 21, 2006 07:33 pm cheers johannesD, i can honestly say i dont know what the chords are, i had lots of classical training as a youth but its buried in there somewhere, i know what i want it to sound like and the distance between notes but i couldnt tell you waht they all are!
and yeah, the guitars a very small loop i played around with.

Apr 22, 2006 11:23 am Nice work pixel. Kind of a jazz flavor to it, especially in the sax parts, very nice mix. I don't think the piano is overpowering at all, sounds perfect to me, great rythm track.
