syncing Nuendo to external midi clock

hey,
anyone know of a way to sync nuendo to an external midi clock. if not does anyone know of a midi sequencer that can take an external midi clock as a timing reference.

Oct 19, 2005 08:48 pm Not familiar with Nuendo, but most likely u will first have to digitally connect to a valid clock source such as word clock. This is done via
SPDIF connector on your sound card or the
BNC connector labeled Word Clock. Once the connection is made and the source clock is on, select external sync in Nuendo and then select the source. Im not sure about syncing to midi as a clock source for recording...if that's what we're talking about here.

Oct 20, 2005 09:14 pm There should be a choice in the options menu that lets you tell it to be a slave to either midi or an outside timing source. I know Sonar can sync to just about any source out there so I would imagine Nuendo should be about the same. It is just a matter of finding it in the options or preferance menu.
