Here's a new tune I've been working on. This is only a first mix, so please be understanding. Thanks!

Gave a quick listen to it this afternoon. On first listen I noticed the level of the track is a bit on the low side. You might want to maximize it just to bring the overall level up a bit. Other then that didnt notice anything bad with it. The mix sounded pretty tight as it is.

I maximized it 128%. Tell me if you think it needs to come up more. Thanks

Tahs a bit better. Wehn you compress for an mp3 you always want to try it a couple of players and watch the meters. They may be cheesy on some of them but they will give you and idea of where you are at level wise. It is still not bringing my meters on my board any higher then about -4dB, and I have my desk set to run a little hot when playing mp3's from streamers and such.

All that said, it may just be the streaming player on soundclick that is playing them at a lower level. It did sound a bit fuller though compared to the last time so it more then likely helped a bit. There is no distortion or anything so that is a good sign.

I have to say for your first mix this is pretty well done, and highly recomend others who see this thread go have a listen. I am sure it is not everybody's cup of tea but the mix is very well done.

I look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

I did just try it on my Windows Media player and the meters were up better on that. So I would say it is probably done just right from what I saw on it. The spectrum seems very full as well. So You probably got it nailed.
