I am trying to connect AW16G and Cubase SX3 via midi (and s/pdif) so that I can use the hardware to control transport and mixer sliders in cubase using generic remote. I cannot do it because I am a muppet. Can anyone give me a step by step instruction list?

Well senior muppet, in cubase SL 1.0 you go to 'device manager', and highlight 'generic remote' and then push 'add'. Then you go to the "generic remote", set what MIDI ports your using, and change the name to 'Muppets Mixer'.
Something like that.

Jul 05, 2005 03:30 am alrighty dude/dudet, hit the 'devices' pop down menu, then hit 'device manager' and then look to the top left corner of that window, there should be a little plus '+' sign. hit that and then slect generic remote and your away
