wav. samples.....

i got some wav. samples off the net and some open in Reason but some say unsupported format but yet they open in WMA just fine so it's not corrupted...an1 have any suggestions....thanx ahead

Then they indeed may be corrupted files. I come accorss that as well on occasion. Try downloading them again and see if that fixxes anything.

anutha guy was tellin me about them being cheap 4 bit samples and thas why....could i change them?...i'm thinking i can but idk

If you have a wav editing program such as SoundForge or WaveLab, you can open them up in there and then export them converted as 16 bit or even 8 bit. I am not sure if WaveLab or SF will even open 4 bit. But you can give that a try in your wave editer of choice.

If not maybe you could burn them as audio and import them back in by burning them back into your computer with toast or whatever.
