Using a limiter in Wavelab?

Hi,
This may appear to be a stupid question...(and probably is!)...but, in Wavelab v4, why can you only put a limiter on the dither section? This doesn`t effect the initial volume does it? It means its only being used to gain more loudness rather than preventing small clipping. ie, if I get my level hot, but at one part of the song it clips to +0.1...I would like to use a limiter to prevent this but it doesn`t seem to let me use it like that. Sorry, I`m not really explaining this at all well! So, instead I`ve been using the in-built Waves "Peak Master" but I would really like to be able to use my Waves L2. Is there away to gain access to the waves limiter through the "effects" section of wavelab? (in the drop down menu for plugins in the effects section it has all my plugins including all my waves plugins but without any of the waves limiters...the limiters only show in the drop down menu for the "dither" section).
Thanks alot and sorry for such a confusing and long question!
Take care.
Alex

Easy. Go to Options; Organize master effects plugins; then depending on whether you have the Direct-X or VST version of the Waves plugins installed, open the appropriate folder; scroll to "Waves L2" and then tick the box in the FX column beside it. You can keep the tick in the PM column if you want it to be available in both sections. Click OK to finish.
