Help!!!!! Illegal bounds with crossfades

Im using Digi 001 and when trying to perform a crossfade a window pops up saying illegal boundaries or something to that effect. It then gives me 2 choices to either skip fades or adjust the bounds. Can somebody please tell me what im doing wrong?
