Hi guys,

I have an Oktava MK319 condenser mic and am willing to buy a shockmount. I've been looking for options and found some pretty inexpensive ones, although they seem to be specific to other brands. In that case, do you guys think it wouln't work for my Oktava?
Check these out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

First one shown should fit a MK-319 if in fact its the one shown in the pucture...

That is the shockmount I got with my condenser...But look out!...if the shockmount is stringed with rubber wire....watch out for it drying out and breaking...Mine did so....so I went out and got some skinny bungy cord and created a new cord for the shockmount by connecting the ends with a matching color speaker wire connector...

As for the MK319, you are better off looking for an older one for sure. The newer ones are as Jason said very hit and miss. Mine is a very old one and is pretty solid. The newer ones just arent built the same.

Mine is solid...

My client came in never hearing my mic talking about bringing in some Audio Technicas and **** like that...I happened to think my MK-319 was great...

His first session he was highly impressed with my mic, hasn't said one bad word yet...

FYI...I got it December of 2002
