Hi, my band is working on a new cd and I have gotten close to finishing the mixing/mastering for the first track and I was wondering if anyone could give me some critisism to help me improve the overall sound. There are a couple spots where we still need to go back and re-track vocals and guitars, but I'm just trying to get some help for the song as a whole. (Either mixing or mastering suggestions)

Thanks!
Chris

i'd say vocals could go down a little. but before you do that, i'd add some reverb to vocals and warm them up a bit w/ eq. what kind of vocal mic are you using. everything else sounds really good.

Yeah everyone kept complaining that the vocals were too quiet, so I think I over compensated a bit. I think the main problem is getting them to sit right, so I think playing around with reverb sounds like a good place to start. I am using a Samson C03 condenser for the vocals.

Thanks
Chris
