These Marshal amps look really cool for metal type music and was just wondering if anyone had tried them?

Nov 27, 2004 12:48 am They are incredibly loud, I was trying out a Fender Hot Rod Delux at the shop the other day and some kid just blasted the thing. I didnt get the chance to play with it. 1) I dont play metal and 2) I am a tube guy. Its supposed to have alot of bottom end, but I think the triple rectifier can out do it. so the short term answer, no I didnt try it out, but I heard the monster

Nov 27, 2004 09:03 pm aren't they like 350watts? sheesh, that's a whole lotta power!
I'd look around on the newsgroups for people that've tried them, or on harmony central, if they have it.

Nov 27, 2004 10:48 pm Yes, they are huge power monster's. But that said, I gotta agree on the triple recto being the king of the hill still. Loud isnt everything in my book, but the triple is a better all around sound I believe.
