These Marshal amps look really cool for metal type music and was just wondering if anyone had tried them?

They are incredibly loud, I was trying out a Fender Hot Rod Delux at the shop the other day and some kid just blasted the thing. I didnt get the chance to play with it. 1) I dont play metal and 2) I am a tube guy. Its supposed to have alot of bottom end, but I think the triple rectifier can out do it. so the short term answer, no I didnt try it out, but I heard the monster

aren't they like 350watts? sheesh, that's a whole lotta power!

I'd look around on the newsgroups for people that've tried them, or on harmony central, if they have it.

Yes, they are huge power monster's. But that said, I gotta agree on the triple recto being the king of the hill still. Loud isnt everything in my book, but the triple is a better all around sound I believe.
