I just bought a 319 at Guitar Center for $99. Seems they are having a sale until the end of the month. Just thought I'd let you guys know in case you have an extra C-note laying around that you couldn't think of what to do with it. I going to go and buy another one today so I can have a pair.
Blessings, Terry

Nov 20, 2002 09:18 pm Yup, I posted about a week or more ago about it. I think Musician's Friend will price match any price GC has.

I tried using it for amplifing our choir. i used it on one side and my Rode NT1000 one the other. The Rode smoked the 319, IMO.

Dec 18, 2002 09:23 pm Yup, the 319 is not a room mic, it is meant to be used a little closer in, and it is the warmest sounding thing compared to a Rode. The Rode mic's a very sterile and clean, but they have their place in the studio for sure. I used them for sampling mostly to get the cleanest tone's.

They make several models and they are all different. I don't think mine sounds sterile at all. It has great body and a very nice airyness to it. I don't think it has a flat enough responce to be used for reference.
