I've read a few threads about compressors on HRC and I haven't heard anything about this type of compressor (Presonus, BlueMax Comp./Limiter). Is it any good? I have a few days left to return it if its no good!

I'll be interested in hearing about any reviews on this product and tips you may have on recording vocals with a compressor.

Current Setup:

MXL 990
Art tube Studio V3 preamp
Presonus BlueMax compressor/limiter
Audiophile 2496

blah, blah....I'll appreciate any responses or tips thrown this way.

If this is your first comp., Im sure it will be fine. The competition at that level is very stiff. Each company has its own contender. I would google reviews on it, there are alot of them out there. Many of them will link you to mix, eq, and electronic musician magazine reviews, They are pretty straight forward.
