i bought one used for $200 the other day with some birthday cash. after playing with it for a few days to replace some sounds i find i dont like 75% of the sounds. i guess it might be a good tool if i used sonar as a midi sequencer and got some triggers. but i dont realy do alot of midi stuff and its not my main focus.i tend to deal with live metal/punk/hardcore bands and do some demo stuff for my friends. i mainly got this toy for getting that tight clicky bass drum sound for death/black metal.

i am thinking about returning it to get something of more use but aia m not sure as to what. maybe a mic? or a preamp? or cables? a RNC?i do want another mixing board maybe i should save up..............................

this is more of a rant/point to ponder and most likely belongs in the gear gab forum.
