Ahem..maybe not!
Anyway..greetings y'all. I'm after some tips here with some vocal sounds I'm trying to replicate namely the heavenly drones of one John Lennon.
John Lennons vocals were apprently (according to the great genuis himself) Seriously messed around with before he'd record a note. He hated his own voice.
I know its some sort of delay thing going on but does anyone have any tips for recreating such a sound??
I don't know how close I am with my own attempts (see one of my other posts for a recent song link) at doing this type of vox. I've tried a pretty loose reverb with a bit of track vox panning and starting one track just after the other to get the delay. Is there any easier way to do this?
I dont know...Its the only real way I can think of doing this but I'd be greatful for any input anyone has on this.
Cheers guys...
Coco.
