Just a thought, what is the real professional program that is used to record at home? I have all these programs but they all seem to say they are the professional program of choice by professionals, So my question is which program do you use and why did you choose this program? (features, ease of use, ect ect)

For years I recorded simple stuff with N-Track on a Windows 98 PC but now I want to expand and run something on Windows 7 x64 but its hard to decide. Thanks in advance for all your feedback.
