Difference between older MG12/4FX and the new MG124CX

So I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between Yamaha's original MG series and the new MG C series. I know the tech specs differences (ie. number of auxes, single knob compression feature). What I wanted to know is if anyones knows the differences in the components used in the older versus newer models. If the preamps sound any different, or if the build feels more solid (Ive heard the faders and pots on the new MG C series feel a little cheap.) Thanks guys in advance
