can i run reason 3 with my new computer set up

hello everyone about three years ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer then my computer died taking me out of the music game for a while.so yesterday i was able to to upgrade/fix my computer just waiting on the parts.now when i was making music i bought all my software for an amd athlon xp 1900+ 768mbs ram and a tearra tec phase 88 sound card running reason 3 Magix Samplitude Professional v7.22. and various plug-ins.what i am really asking is am i going to be able to run this again on my new board and chip:
ASRock ALiveNF5SLI-1394 socket AM2 motherboard,
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ CPU
2 gigabytes pc 6400 ddr2 ram 800 MHz
with 2 40gb maxtor 7200 drives can i run my older software with windows xp pro 64 bit or am i going to have to use my old 32 bit copy of xp pro.like i said i have been out for a while taking care of my wife so i am kind of clueless greatly appreciated

Welcome to the HRC vexxation.

I bet both of those will only work on XP32b, but I don't think you'll notice any real difference. The speed difference will probably be very small, if at all.

I think the biggest boost from XP64 is the greater ram usage. So if you're at 2g, then I wouldn't worry about XP64. Just put XP32 on there and watch is totally CRANK!

(compared to the old PC, of course).
