Sep 24, 2009 10:26 pm Never been a big fan of the Yamaha NS10, nor am I a huge fan of their newer near fields. The main reason is they are not worth the price. The NS10 was lacking in so many ways. But the truth was if you could make a mix sound good on them then it would sound good anywhere.
If you read the hype on their page for the newer ones they are still using that same train of thought. If you can make a mix sound good on these it will sound good on anything.
Might be true, but honestly I wasn't that impressed with them.
