Hey guys i have the traktor scratch dejayin program and using the soundcard (audio 8 dj) that came with it. well i just got cool edit pro and im trying to record onto it from my soundcard well ive been into settings and just cant figure how to link my soundcard up to cool edit. it seems as if cool edit isnt reconizing my sound card. If anybody has done this or has any kind of insight please resond thanks

Have you gone into the options or preferences for the audio of cool edit. Which by the way is a very old program and not supported by many cards now.

But if you check in the options or preferences you will find you need to select the driver's for the audio 8. I am assuming you installed the drivers for the sound card.
