im using sonar 8 pro,i pull aiff,.wav files from within dimension pro if i want to use cd-rom sample loops, but it's not loading a batch of acidized rex files from dvd-roms,i bought a stack of em,so .wavs are working, aiff's too,but not these rex files,it would be nice cause there's a ton of samples on these dvd's,thousands of them but i can't so far use them, any ideas?

Aug 01, 2009 09:17 pm Um, if you have Sonar Producer Edition. The full version I am talking about here. You will have the ability to use Acidized or Acid files in the normal audio tracks.
You will also have a player called RXP which is the Rex2 file player.
There is no such thing as an acidized rex file. They are two completely different audio files but do serve somewhat similar purpose.
So you should have the ability to use all those files if you have the full Sonar Producer Edition.
And what exactly do you mean you are pulling aiff and wav files from within Dimension?
