TASCAM US-144 No sound on "Mic In R"

I've just hooked up the US-144 with two mics on the XLR inputs. Using headphones plugged into the Phones jack, I can hear sound from the left mic but not the right. If I swap mics and cords both mics and cords work, and when I tap on the right mic (the one that doesn't produced sound) the SIG/OL LED lights up, so I believe the US-144 is receiving the sound even if it's not playing it out to the headphones.

I've toggled the "Mic/Line" and "Guitar" option, I've also toggled "Phantom Power" but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
