This software is basically Kristal 2 or K2, it has been in development since 2006 or so led by the guy who created Kristal.

But one thing they are bragging about being Ground breaking and innovative and truthfully Cakewalk has had most of those features starting back about 6 years ago for many and the rest have been in Sonar for the last 2 nearly 3 years. Their innovative start page has been part of Cakewalks sequencer/DAW since the old Pro Audio days before Sonar.
But I will give Presonus credit for jumping in and making a full on package available for their customer's. It has a lot of look like it is a cross between PT and Logic from what I can see. Look's only though. I'm not judging performance or lack of until I see an actual working version. So far all the reviews are just cut and paste out of Presonus own description's.
But price will tell the tale. Will they jack it way up or give it away for cheap?
