Well met,
some days ago I was crazed with the idea of turning my „Camelot Hymn“ into an electro edit. I mixed the orchestral parts with techno-like pads, leads, a driving synth bass and plain drum beats. I didn't use any sampling program, every single note and every single pattern (bass/drum) has been composed originally. This shouldn't be considered as a remix, but as a stand-alone composition. I hope you’ll enjoy the “March of the Chosen” ;-)

Feb 16, 2009 05:47 pm Almost reminds me of the Vangelis days.
Think Chariots of Fire if you don't know who Vangelis is.
But anyway, very good. To be honest I like this one better then the original. Not saying the original was bad either, just this has much broader appeal.
I like the instruments you used as well. It really keeps the Orchestral theme intact but brings in a much more dramatic feel with the electronics added.
Everything seems to fit pretty well.

Feb 16, 2009 10:23 pm Two words: love it. Must have been a grueling task to get it all together, but the result is magnificent.
Vangelis was the first reference that came to mind, just like Noize said. Not that that is a negative thing. :-)

Feb 20, 2009 09:01 pm J-bot, Ryo Yonemitsu is a name I haven't heard in a long time. Forgot all about Ys, just too long ago I guess. ;-) I liked the remix and I will definitely check Ryo Yonemitsu out again!
